Voice of Professional Wrestling (Amped 6-14-17)
Hey there, mush brains! Championship Wednesday absolutely lived up to the hype! Every title was defended on this most recent edition of Amped, so let’s get right to it.
Our opening contest put “The Dream” Daniel Winchester’s American Luchacore Championship on the line against former champion Clayton “Gainz” Jackson. Clay looked great right out of the gate, while Winchester appeared to be preoccupied with his title. Jackson hit an especially devastating Jacked Hammer to down Winchester for the three count. With that Clayton Jackson became a two-time American Luchacore Champion. Congratulations, Clay! I knew you could do it!
Next up we had a slobberknocker of a match between two pugnacious pugilists in “The Man Without Fear” Kyle Maverick and “The Pitbull” Ganger. This was a quick and brutal affair with plenty of haymakers. In the end, Ganger dumped Maverick on his head with a Double Underhook DDT to bring a fast end to this match.
A Fatal Four-Way followed with competitors including “Hot Fire” Myron Reed, “The Baddest Man Alive” Aaron Williams, Pompano Joe, and Nate Wings. This match would determine the #1 Contender for the American Luchacore Championship. Reed climbed to the top of the turnbuckle with Wings in tow before delivering a massive top-rope Firefly to finish off Nate. With that, Myron Reed became the #1 Contender for the Luchacore Title. Good luck, kid! You’re gonna need it when your staring across the ring at the beast that is Clayton Jackson.
Match four was a Triple Threat between “Dirty” White Mike, “Street Rat” Sid Fabulous, and Rob Killjoy. It was a fast-paced, intense contest. White Mike got Sid into position and hit him with a mean-looking Can Opener. Killjoy followed up with a Darkwing Double Stomp, but his momentum carried him out of the ring. This gave White Mike the chance to pin Fabulous, and three seconds later we had a winner. What a big win for White Mike! He better watch out being that goofy in the ring against a member of The Foundation though.
Next, we saw tag team action between Wendy & Lisa (“The Artist” Jake Crist & “Trigger” Trey Miguel) and the unlikely duo of Cole Radrick and Darin Dinero. Radrick and Dinero certainly started off together with a great deal of momentum, but they’ve had difficulties securing wins of late. Once Wendy & Lisa get on a roll it appears there’s no stopping them! Jake got Darin into position, and everyone in Rockstar Pro Arena knew the end was near. Trey climbed to the top rope to hit Dinero with a Killing Spree to earn Wendy & Lisa yet another win.
Two former Rockstar Pro World Champions collided when “The Sickest Whatever” Zachary Wentz faced off against “Juggernaut” Jeremiah. These two went right into a karate showdown followed by some crab-style sparring. After a few kicks to one another’s faces, this match truly intensified. Wentz quickly nailed Jeremiah with a Destroy to wrap up this short match. I’m fine with that. The less I have to look at Wentz’s treacherous face the better.
Next up we had the second of our three Championship matches. Earlier in the night, principal owners CW Scott and Gee Gee stripped Ugly Ducklings of their Tag Team Championships due to their failure to defend their titles over a 30 day period. We promised a Tag Team Championship match, and we delivered! Hooligans (Devin & Mason Cutter) took on Night Ryderz (Dustin Rayz & Alex Colon) to determine who would get the gold. This was every bit the brawl one would expect, with a massive fight that bled into the Rockstar Nation and even the parking lot before the match even began! Once they got back into the ring it was anyone’s game. In the end, the brothers Cutter hit a Cutter/Bulldog combo they call Stone Cold Steiner to win the match. The Hooligans are your new Rockstar Pro Tag Team Champions!
Our main event pitted “White Trash Messiah” Ron Mathis against “The Gem City Queen” Nevaeh Crist for her Rockstar Pro World Championship. Mathis looked great and had the early advantage, until the champ resorted to some Chop Blocks to take away his vertical base. This only enraged Mathis, and he came back at Nevaeh with furious anger. He nearly had her, but a German Suplex with a bridging pin allowed Nevaeh to retain her championship. After the match, The Foundation attacked! Jake Crist hit the ring to aid his wife, but Jeremiah put a quick end to that Nevaeh was overwhelmed by The Foundation and Jeremiah until a familiar sound rang out. That fat asshole Jon Murray hit the ring dressed as The Terminator and bashed everyone with a Singapore Cane. What a fat fraud! It would seem tensions are really mounting between Murray and Mathis, and I couldn’t be happier. Murray, you gonna get it.
